CRJ 704. Probation and Parole

Examines the rationales for and the methods of supervising convicted offenders within communities. Considers problems arising in presentence investigations, case-load assignments, providing support services and facilities, revocation hearings, predicting future behavior, and coordinating with other social control agencies.(Offered Spring 2005)
Prerequisite: An undergraduate course in criminology, or permission of the instructor.
