CRJ 725. Capital Punishment: Legal and Social Science Perspectives

This team-taught course examines the controversies surrounding capital punishment from two different interdisciplinary perspectives. Every major issue and area of concern will be examined. Theoretical, philosophical, and empirical issues will be reviewed. The two instructors will present the pro's and con's of executing offenders and will thereby re-create the contemporary public debate for the students' benefit.
