ENV 108. Principles of Environmental Science

An introduction to environmental science including environmental toxicology. This course will provide an introduction to contemporary environmental problems such as solid waste, water and air pollution, climate change and habitat destruction. In addition, the course will examine the effects of pollutants, drugs and poisons on the human body. (Offered every semester.)
Prerequisite: Natural Science 107 or the equivalent.
6 hours: 3 hours lecture, 1 1/2 hours recitation, 1 1/2 hours laboratory, 4 credits
