FCM 710. Architecture of Secure Operating Systems

The design, implementation and administration of modern operating systems are reviewed. Topics covered include concurrent execution, process and mem-ory management, local and networked file systems. Security models, access control mechanisms and security enhanced version of current operating systems are discussed. (Offered spring semesters.)
Prerequisite: Mathematics 241-242, Mathematics 271–272, Mathematics 373, Mathematics 375, and Mathematics 377;or the equivalent.(Offered spring semesters.)
