GOV 203. Municipal and State Government

Functional study of the legislative and administrative process in state and local government. The increasing importance of administration and the executive in modern government. The relationship between administration and the legislative and judicial branches of the government. The influence of political parties, pressure groups, and public opinion upon legislation and administration. (Offered every semester.)
Prerequisite: English 101. In addition: Government 101 or permission of the section instructor.
