PAD 314. Productivity

This course offers a range of techniques for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector services. It devotes particular attention to measurement, labor-management cooperation, politics of productivity, employee incentives (monetary and non-monetary) and improvement programs in specific areas such as police, corrections, human services, etc. Cases are extensively utilized. (Not offered 2005-2007.)
Prerequisite: English 102 and Public Administration 240.
