Relates actual productivity programs to conceptual models of productivity and recommended productivity techniques. Examines cases involving productivity measurement, jurisdiction-wide efforts to monitor and manage productivity efforts, the effect of capital investment and technological advance on productivity, and the participation of employee organizations in productivity improvement programs. Engages students in a critical analysis of the cases under review. |
