PSC 355. Money and the Police Manager

An examination of the police as a fiscal entity. The financial aspects of police operations, administration and management including funding sources, methods and processes; municipal police budgets and budget processes; internal and external audits and accounts; the financing and control of the various functional areas of a police organization; pension funds; financial planning and expense plans; and future trends in police finance and expenditure. (Not offered 2005-2007.)
Prerequisite: English 101. In addition: Police Science 201 or permission of the section instructor.
