Topics include group formation and development; group counseling theories; composition and goals; group violence; group resistance to change; factors that facilitate positive growth within groups; groups formed for the purpose of counseling offenders; and the group dynamics of institutions designed to work with delinquent populations. 30 hours plus conferences, 3 credits.
