SOC 380. Sociology Laboratory in Dispute Resolution Skill Building

The techniques and the skills of dispute resolution; primary focus on mediation, and minimal attention to arbitration. Students are introduced to the strategies and tactics of negotiations, with special emphasis on mediation as an extension of the negotiation process in the resolution of interpersonal and community disputes. (Offered every semester.)
Prerequisite: English 102 and Sociology 206.
