GOV 260. International Relations

A survey of the factors that influence the relations among nations. Theories of war, peace, imperialism, and the determinants of power. The superpowers and balance of terror. International law and organization. National integration and the creation of regional communities. The rise of the Third World and the crisis of the international order. (Offered fall semesters.)
Prerequisite: English 101. In addition: Government 101 or permission of the section instructor.
